The Learning Skills Center provides free academic assistance in Study Skills, Writing, Mathematics, Spanish, and Science to the general student body. Our Learning Skills Center Specialists teach workshops, offer appointments and provide daily drop-in hours. Our student tutors offer weekly and drop-in tutoring services.
Tutoring for the Learning Skills Center is a great job! We hire many students each year and encourage you to consider this rewarding position. Tutors learn their subjects in greater depth, improve their teaching skills through training and practice, and earn excellent hourly wages.
Our staff also offer general academic and social advising and make referrals to other campus resources. Our goal is to help you become as successful as you hope to be. Therefore, I urge you to come to the receptionist's desk in 2205 Dutton Hall to learn more about our services.
